Cedarhills Garden Center

Last Saturday of August, I was invited to attend a workshop entitled Organic Urban Gardening 101.  This workshop is sponsored by Cedarhills Garden Center, a one-stop shop for all your gardening needs.  It is located at 57 Mother Ignacia Avenue, Brgy. Paligsahan, Quezon City.

I have learned a lot in the workshop and would love to share it in detail to you in another blog post.  For now, let me give you a photo blog tour of what’s in store for you once you visit Cedarhills Garden Center, which one of my workshop-mate described as “heaven” for gardeners. J

They sell different kinds of plants: flowering, herbs, decorative, and everything!

Yes, that’s a violet chili pepper!
This is the first time I saw a Venus flytrap.  Scary to touch!
They also sell different gardening tools.  From the basic and traditional gardening tools that we all know like trowels, plant shears, pots, etc.; to some that are new to me (wedger, dibber, seed strainers, etc.).

Pots, pots, and lots of pots.
They also sell fertilizers of different sorts.

And seeds in packs you can use as starter for gardening.

If you find yourself hungry while shopping around Cedarhills Garden Center, you can eat at Hillside Café and Juice Bar.

Everything you need to start a garden or maintain one, you can find at Cedarhills Garden Center.  And of course, if you want to learn more about starting your own garden, you can attend their Organic Urban Gardening 101 held monthly.

Picture grabbed from Cedarhill’s fb page.  That’s the banner for the workshop I attended.

I am ending this blogpost with a quote you may want to ponder on.

  1. Hi Nerissa, I was googling for this garden for their workshop. I've a couple of indoor plants myself but I want to hone my planting knowledge, especially the organic way. Glad you and your son had fun touring the place. Hope to visit them soon.
Btw, I'm running 2 separate give-aways in blog. Feel free to join any of it. Hope to get to know another mommy blogger.

    1. Hi Joy, thanks for dropping by my blog. I learned so much in the workshop too. You may want to join it as well. :)

  2. It is extremely unlikely you could do anything of note in a garden without a spade - it will help when handing soil over blossom informal lodging patches, burrow openings for fence posts or bigger trees and bushes, and demonstrate important when clearing heaps of garbage.
