Finding the right diaper for your baby is hard.  It is a tedious process as a wrong choice can lead to your baby’s discomfort, leakages, and some times, even health concerns.   Babies’ skin is very delicate.  Did you know that babies’ skin is only about ½ the thickness of adults’ skin?  This is why babies need a diaper that provides extra care and comfort.

Now, there’s good news for all mommies!  Merries Diapers, Japan’s #1 baby diaper for 10 consecutive years, are now available in the Philippines!  Merries Diapers offers 7 features and benefits:

Press Release: Marian Rivera-Dantes Makes Garantisadong Ginisarap Dishes

Playing different roles in life is not new to Marian Rivera-Dantes.  She’s a brand ambassador, a primetime queen, a style icon, a recording artist, and a philanthropist.  However, her favorite role by far has been those roles she play behind the camera: as a wife to Dingdong Dantes and a mom to Baby Zia Dantes.

As a modern homemaker, she manages her time between work and family.  Marian has found comfort in cooking.  This is one of the best ways to make her family feel loved and to improve her culinary skills.  The Kapuso actress has posted some of her own culinary creations that range from baby food for little Zia, soups, stews, and veggies in her social media.  And on some days, Marian cooks stir-fry dishes as her go-to-choices for easy and yummy meals.

At the top of her list of stir-fry dishes are Chopseuy and Fried Rice made with AJI-GINISA Flavor Seasoning Mix, as seen in the seasonning’s two new TVCs.  In both versions of the TVC, Marian dances and sings to the tune of her hit song “Sabay-sabay Tayo” while she adds AJI-GINISA to each dish to make them more delicious and “Garantisadong Ginisarap!

Like Marian, you can also cook Garantisadong Ginisarap dishes by adding AJI-GINISA to your favorite stir-fry recipes.  Visit Ajinomoto’s website for more details.

Enhance Your Natural Beauty With Black Hairspray Wigs

This is a sponsored post.  However, all opinions are mine.

Hair is what most people say the crowning glory of our heads.  Making sure we have a nice hair and how it complements our faces are what most women are after.   However, not everyone is fortunate and blessed to have beautiful hair.  Some have dull hair that needs to be treated.  Some women have Alopecia Areata, a disease that can cause baldness.

Black Hairspray

That is why thanks to brands like Black Hairspray, women can now enjoy having the beautiful hair as they offer excellent quality wigs.   Black Hairspray is one of the leading e-commerce companies that offers beauty products and specializes in wigs and hair care products.  Professional hairstylists, beauticians, students, and working mothers go to Black Hairspray for their hair care and wigs needs.

What I like about Black Hairspray is that they have several options of wigs for different kinds of women.  Whatever your face shape may be, and whatever hairstyle and hair color you are actually dreaming to have, Black Hairspray has an array of various wig you can choose from.  There are a lot of choices to choose from - either synthetic hairs to human hair or remy hairs.

Black Hairspray is an online shop so you can shop at the comforts of your home and have it delivered for you.  They offer reasonably priced wigs – and some are on discounted prices too.  You can visit their website at to see for yourself the different wigs and hair care products they offer.

Japan 2017: Chiyoda and Taito

In our 11 days stay in Japan, it was only in our second to the last day that it rained.  We still followed our scheduled to visit Chiyoda and Taito for sightseeing and Shinjuku and Shibuya for shopping that day.

Imperial Palace

Japan’s Imperial Palace, where their royal family resides, is located at Chiyoda city ward.  There are scheduled guided tours to enter the palace for free.  We were not fortunate to try this as during our visit, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace (access to Imperial Palace) was closed.  We just content ourselves in taking pictures from the outside.

Our Airbnb host has provided us an umbrella. J

Taito: Ueno and Asakusa

Ueno Park is a famous area for cherry blossom trees in Taito.  We wanted to visit this place to see the cherry blossoms and to visit the Ueno Zoo (located beside the park) to see the Pandas that reside in there.  We were unlucky as Ueno Zoo was closed during our visit.  Fortunately, the cherry blossom trees did not disappoint.

Gorgeous Sakura tree!

We then headed to Asakusa.  Asakusa is famous for the Senso-ji Temple.  I am not a big fan of temples, unless they really look gorgeous like Kinkakuji and Fushimi Inari, which is why I am not sure why we went here.

Kaminarimon gate.

It was raining hard that we didn’t not enter Senso-ji Temple and just shop around Nakamise Dori, a shopping street at Senso-ji.  Yes, it was raining but we still opted to shop. Haha.

Nakamise Dori shopping street full of shoppers.

Rickshaw on standby.  These are pulled by men and costly to experience hehe.

For me, visiting these places are a nice add-ons to your itinerary in case you just need to fill it up.   Just make sure the attractions like the East Gardens of Imperial Palace and Ueno Zoo are not closed during your visit.

Japan 2017: Tsukiji and Odaiba

One our first day in Tokyo, we explored four of Tokyo’s most famous city wards: Shinjuku, Shibuya, Chuo (we visited the popular Tsukiji Market), and Minato, where the artificial island, Odaiba, is located.

Tsukiji Market

Tsukiji Market is a famous market place for tuna auction.  This is where fresh fishes, fruits, and vegetables are sold at a wholesale level.  There are also restaurants and kiosks selling delicious food in this market.  We scheduled our visit here just in time for lunch.

Most restaurants at Tsukiji Market offer expensive meal.  If you are on a budget, I suggest you buy at the smaller kiosks.  The food taste delicious still (as they serve it fresh) and you will be able to try more dishes.

Buttered Scallops for JPY500.  Oishi!

Tamagoyaki for JPY100.

If you are planning to visit Tsukiji Market, make sure to do so before the year ends.  Reports are saying that the wholesale market will be transferred to Toyosu area.

Odaiba is an artificial island in the Minato area.  Going to Odaiba is quite pricey but the view during the train ride will be worth every yen.  Make sure to sit at the first coach to have the best view.

We were very particular in visiting Odaiba because of the Gundam statue.  Being an otaku (anime lover), you will understand that I would love to see this and have my picture taken on this place.  But we were disappointed to learn that they are renovating (well, they are tearing down the giant Gundam statue and will be replacing it with a new one).  What a bad timing for our visit.

Sad boys.

The old and the new Gundam statues.

A replica of the Statue of Liberty can also be seen at Odaiba.  You can take lots of picture in that area but since it was so cold, we decided to enter and sightsee (and shop quite a bit) inside the two famous malls in Odaiba area: Aqua City and Diver City.

Neo found Dory at Aqua City! Hooray!

These two places are a must to visit when you go to Tokyo.  You will get to eat delicious foods at Tsukiji Market and see a lot of nice things in Odaiba.  However, before visiting these places please (1) check if the wholesale market is still in Tsukiji and was not yet transferred to Toyosu and (2) wait until the new Gundam statue is erected before visiting Odaiba.

PS: The H&M in Diver City sells a lot of affordable clothes good for pasalubong J

Japan 2017: Shinjuku and Shibuya

We visited Japan’s two famous regions when we went there last March: Kansai and Kanto.  After touring the Kansai region and exploring the cities of Osaka, Kyoto, and Nara, we geared ourselves for more adventure as we discover the Kanto region, especially the city of Tokyo.

We visited as much attractions as we can when we went to Tokyo.  Tokyo is divided into 23 city wards.  It is fairly easy to sightsee as it has very modern trains and subway system.   We made sure to buy the Tokyo Metro Subway Pass (JPY800 for 24hours), to save money while transporting through trains.

Shinjuku is the closest city ward of Tokyo to our Airbnb accommodation in Tokyo.  It was with so much coincidence that the overnight bus we rode stops at Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal.

Busy checking out the Tokyo subway map.

The first tourist attraction we visited was the Shinjuku Gyoen National Park.  Entrance fee cost JPY200.  This is a very huge park with a lot of cherry blossom trees.  It has also a lot of different variety of flowering trees and shrubs.  Every bit of the park is picturesque.  There are a lot of things to do at Shinjuku Gyoen National Park.  You can go on picnic as some did during our visit.  There are also kids from Day Care who were touring the place.

Shinjuku is also famous for its Robot Restaurant.  We did not enter this place as entrance fee costs JPY8000 and food costs vary per menu.  It’s quite pricey for the experience if you ask me.

Shinjuku at night.

Shibuya is another famous city ward of Tokyo.  This is particularly famous because of the Shibuya Crossing.  We made sure to try it of course!

Shibuya is also a famous shopping district and food haven.  We were able to try the vendo ramen and it was a really nice experience (we actually tried it twice).

You eat next to each other at Ramen houses.

During our last day at Japan, we wanted to take a photo with Hachiko, the famous akita dog.  However, it was raining so we just content ourselves in looking at the statue and telling the story to Neo.

Busy Shibuya crossing under the rain.

Don’t miss out Shinjuku and Shibuya in your Tokyo visit.  Both areas can be accessed through the Fukutoshin Line and will only cost JPY170 per train ride.
